U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) has voiced her support for Sean Duffy, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Secretary of the Department of Transportation. In a statement released after meeting with the former congressman, Baldwin emphasized the importance of ensuring federal transportation policies benefit Wisconsin families and businesses.

“I look at all of the President’s nominees through the lens of ‘will you be good for Wisconsin,’” Baldwin stated. “For this nominee, I am thinking about the big infrastructure projects in the pipeline to make sure families can get to school and work safely, our water is clean to drink and swim in, and our businesses can get their goods on shelves.”
