On Tuesday, a staff member in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), known as “Big Balls,” intervened in an unarmed carjacking of a woman in the D.C. area, according to a Metro Police Report and Elon Musk on X.

Edward Coristine, known mostly online as “Big Balls,” stated he saw the suspects approach the vehicle and demand the woman to hand over her car. Coristine pushed one of the victims back into the vehicle, and turned to confront the other suspects. (RELATED: Border Officials Seize Weapons and Narcotics in Northern U.S. Crackdown)

A D.C. Metro police officer pulled onto the street and reported 10 suspects fleeing, 2 suspects being arrested on scene. Coristine was treated for his injuries by Metro Fire and EMS as a result of the assault.

The Metro Police also reported that the arrests were of two 15 year olds, male and female from Hyattsville, MD., they were both charged with unarmed carjacking.

President Trump has mentioned the rising crime in D.C. before. In response to this incident, Trump is threatening to federalize Washington D.C. in all respects.

“If D.C. doesn’t get its act together, and quickly, we will have no choice but to take Federal control of the City, and run this City how it should be run, and put criminals on notice that they’re not going to get away with it anymore,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

This incident adds fuel to an already strong Republican effort to try and put Washington D.C. under federal control. Considering D.C. is not a state, its autonomy could come under federal jurisdiction. (RELATED: Trump to Sign Executive Order Addressing ‘Debanking’ of Conservatives)
